Supported Employment
Supported Employment services are designed to help individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities discover meaningful work where they feel valued, capable, and included. Through individualized support, participants are guided in identifying their strengths, interests, and personal goals while building the confidence and skills needed to succeed in the workplace.
Services may include job coaching, career exploration, workplace communication support, transportation training, and ongoing assistance to help individuals maintain employment and grow toward greater independence.
At the heart of supported employment services is the belief that every person deserves the opportunity to experience purpose, connection, dignity, and belonging through meaningful work within their community.
Career Planning
Career Planning services provide individuals with a supportive and person-centered process to explore their interests, strengths, passions, and future goals related to employment and community involvement. Through discovery activities, vocational assessments, community exploration, and individualized planning, participants are empowered to better understand their unique abilities and identify career paths that are meaningful to them.
Services may include resume development, interview preparation, benefits education, and creating an individualized plan for employment success.
Career Planning encourages self-advocacy, confidence, and independence while helping individuals and families feel supported as they navigate the journey toward a fulfilling and purposeful future.
Pre-Vocational Training
Pre-Vocational Training services help individuals build the foundational skills, confidence, and independence needed to prepare for meaningful employment and active participation within their communities. Through supportive, hands-on learning experiences, participants develop important workplace and life skills such as communication, teamwork, problem-solving, time management, and following routines and expectations.
Services are individualized to each person’s strengths, learning style, and personal goals, creating opportunities for growth in a safe and encouraging environment.
Pre-Vocational Training focuses not only on employment readiness, but also on helping individuals gain confidence in themselves, develop greater independence, and feel empowered to pursue meaningful opportunities and connections in their everyday lives.
